The 3rd Mapping and Governing the Online World (MGOW) Workshop will be held at NYU School of Law from November 7 to 8, 2025. Our goal is to bring together scholars from law, social science, computer science, and data science who conduct theoretical and empirical research on privacy, online contracts, consumer behavior, competition, machine learning, and related fields. We hope this workshop will continue fostering an international community of researchers engaged in work on these important topics.
This 1.5-day workshop will feature paper presentations, including early-stage work, as well as discussions on research methods, available data, and emerging research infrastructure.
